Fishing

Fishing
Bosnia is the perfect place for fly-fishing, hunting or simply holidays. The accommodation has been specially designed for anglers and is located by the river-side. An unspoiled natural environment, fresh air, springs and unpolluted rivers, as well as a rich variety of flowers and wildlife, make for high-quality fly-fishing spots. The region also offers a wide range of other outdoor activities (hiking, sight-seeing, berry-picking, mushroom picking…)
The perfect place for anglers and nature lovers!

The Rivers
The stretches for fly-fishing run for dozens of kilometres. The water from the two powerful springs varies depending on the season from 1.5 to 2.5 m3 per second. When the two springs meet, the river continues its crystal-clear run. The river beds are often sandy and are home to a large number of water insects, with excellent hatching conditions.

In the village, water plants take up more than 50% of the river bed and shelter the freshwater shrimp which are the staple diet of the trout and grayling. Access to the river at this point is easy. A catch and release system is in place and barbless hooks must be used. Thanks to the efforts of local anglers, the river here is absolutely wonderful.
You will enjoy superb fishing, a pleasant stay in small villas and excellent cuisine. The beauty of the site, and the variety of the flora and wildlife make this one of the best European destinations for fly-fishing.
